When rain pours, inundation can touch 15-25 cm high

Koja Sub-district Head, Yusuf Madjid disclosed, the road position that parallels to the drains is one of the factors causing inundation in the location.

" When rain pours, inundation can touch 15-25 cm high ," he expressed, Wednesday (3/15).

To overcome inundation, personnel will routinely clean up garbage in the drains on left and right sides of the road. Even, freelancers under North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. are also sent to assist them.

Nevertheless water remains overflow into the road when it rains. He hopes related unit to soon elevate the road.

"It must be elevated minimal 30 cm. This is to minimize inundation along Jalan Plumpang Semper. We've discussed it with related unit," he stated.
